Free daily panchang and city-accurate Hindu, Sikh and Jain festival dates for temple, gurdwara and community websites.

== Description ==

Most online calendars give India's festival dates. Abroad, many festivals fall on a different day: in 2026, Karva Chauth is Wednesday 28 October in Toronto, New York and London, but Thursday 29 October in India. This plugin shows the dates and times worked out for **your own city's** sunrise, sunset and moonrise.

* **Daily panchang**: tithi, nakshatra, yoga, sunrise and sunset, Rahu kaal and Abhijit muhurat.
* **Coming festivals**: the next Hindu, Sikh and Jain festivals with puja times, marked where your city's day differs from India's.
* **Gurdwara dates**: Gurpurabs, names in Gurmukhi first.
* **Gurughar calendar**: Sangrand, Puranmashi, Masya and Gurpurabs, with today's sunrise and sunset (Rehras).
* **Muhurta clock**: the choghadiya running right now, Rahu kaal and the next good period.
* **Birth chart** and **kundali matching** tools for visitors.

Over 120 cities in Canada, the USA, the UK, Australia, India and beyond. Hindi, Gurmukhi and English. Free, no account, no ads.

Use a shortcode in any page or post:

`[lk_panchang]` `[lk_festivals n="6"]` `[lk_gurdwara]` `[lk_gurughar]` `[lk_muhurta]` `[lk_birth_chart]` `[lk_matching]`

Each accepts `city="Surrey"` and `theme="dark"`. Set the default city and theme under Settings → Panchang & Festivals, or add the "Panchang & Festival Dates" widget to a sidebar.

== External services ==

This plugin shows content from lifekundali.com, run by ITERNITY RESEARCH CORP. (Brampton, Ontario, Canada). Each shortcode or widget inserts an iframe that loads a page from https://lifekundali.com/embed/. The city and theme you choose are sent in the address of that page. Nothing about your visitors is collected by the plugin; the embedded pages set no cookies and run no tracking. Visitors who use the birth chart or matching tools enter birth details into that page; they are used only to compute the chart.
