Life Kundali · For developers
For developersCity-accurate panchang and festival dates for your app, site or calendar. Free.
Most calendars online give India's dates. Abroad, many festivals fall on a different day: in 2026 Karva Chauth is Wednesday 28 October in Toronto, New York and London, but Thursday 29 October in India. Everything here is worked out for each city's own sunrise, sunset and moonrise, for 125 cities in Canada, the USA, the UK, Australia, India and beyond.

How the dates are worked out
Swiss Ephemeris positions with the Lahiri ayanamsa; each city's own sunrise, sunset and moonrise; the classical observance rule for each festival (udaya, pradosh, nishita, aparahna and so on), named in every record. Each festival page explains its own reasoning. Temples and gurdwaras keep their own calendars, and where they differ, theirs is the one to keep.
