the engine is taking longer than usual. It hasn't failed; the century scan is the slow part and a busy machine drags it out.One bead a second, and one second for each year of the Vimshottari cycle — the hundred and twenty years that the nine mahadashas divide between them, which is the spine of the booklet you are about to be handed. The colours change as the dasha lord changes, so by the time the last bead lights you have watched the thing the booklet is going to explain. Your reading is handed over on that last bead and not before. The steps above are the real sequence in the real order, paced to the mala rather than to a stopwatch: the engine does not report its own progress, and a bar that claimed to know would be inventing it.
It should already be in your downloads. If your browser blocked it, tap here to save it.
Nothing about this chart is now stored on our side. Keep the file somewhere you'll find it in twenty years — that is rather the point of it.
Was it any good? Thirty seconds, and we'll send you another booklet free.
Would you have paid for this?
Please don't put your birth details or your email in this box. It is the one field on this page we keep, and we keep it without knowing who wrote it — so there would be nobody for us to write back to. Anything that looks like a date, a time, a phone number or an address is stripped out before it is saved. If you need a reply, write to — instead.

Nowhere — unless you tick a box and ask. That is the whole design, and it is worth being exact about, because everyone says the first half and almost nobody means it:
Your booklet is handed back to your browser as a download and is not kept on our side either — so keep the file. Losing it means computing it again, which costs you the wait again and costs us nothing. You can also ask us to email it, which is the easiest way not to lose it and the least private way to hold it; the form says plainly what that involves before you tick it.
Why does it take two minutes when other sites are instant?
Partly because there is a century to compute. Those sites draw a chart; this one runs a dated transit and dasha scan across a hundred years, which is what puts real windows in your timeline instead of general advice. That scan is the booklet.
And partly because we hold it back on purpose, which we would rather tell you than have you discover. The arithmetic finishes sooner than two minutes. We hand the booklet over on the hundred and twentieth second — one for each year of the Vimshottari cycle — because a document that weighs a whole life should not land before you have taken your finger off the button. If that strikes you as theatre, the counter on the page is honest about every second of it, which is more than a spinner has ever been.
Is there a cheaper cut-down version?
No. There is one booklet and this is it — same engine, same mathematics, every page. It costs $24.99 CAD.
Is a person going to read my chart?
No. Not as a policy — as a fact about how this is built. There is no copy for anyone to read.
Can I get a chart for my child?
A minor's chart is computed only on a parent's request. You are on this page, so we take you at your word; the responsibility is yours.
What if the mathematics is wrong?
Tell us and we stop. A mathematical error means the engine is fixed before anything else ships — and a corrected booklet. Write to —.
