Order your Sky Certificate

The sky of one minute — the birth minute, from the birth place — drawn, sealed, and registered under its own serial. Four things in, one document out. No account, no person on the other side.

$9.99 CAD · one sky, one number, never reissued

✶ Swiss Ephemeris · Lahiri ayanamsa — stated on the certificate ✶

The birth this certifies

Inscribed on the certificate exactly as typed, so check the spelling — this is a document made to be framed. Once it is made, the name is gone from our side, unless you tick the "keep a copy" box below.
The exact time is required here — the certificate prints the sky of one minute, and an assumed minute would print a different sky. If you don't know it, find it first: a hospital record or an elder's memory beats a guess that gets framed.
Town or city, not the hospital. If a small village isn't recognised, use the nearest large city — the sky a few kilometres away is the same sky, and the time zone is what actually matters.
Your certificate is emailed to you as well as downloaded here — so a closed tab can never cost you what you paid for.

Twenty-seven seconds. Stay on this page — the certificate arrives as a download when the count finishes.

Drawing your sky

  • Placing the birth city and its time zone on that date
  • Computing the sky at the exact minute — nine grahas and the ascendant
  • Finding the Moon's nakshatra — the star this certificate will name
  • Drawing the certificate — the rashi band, the birth record, the seal
  • Registering the serial — one number, issued once, never reissued

0 of 27

Twenty-seven seconds, counted in the open — one second for each of the 27 nakshatras — the certificate names one of them. The engine finishes sooner than the count does; the certificate is handed over on the twenty-seventh second and not before, because a document made to be framed should not land like a search result. The steps above are the real sequence in the real order, paced to the count rather than to a stopwatch: the engine does not report its own progress, and a bar that claimed to know would be inventing it.

Where the birth details go

Nowhere — unless you tick a box and ask. The register keeps the serial; it does not keep the birth. That is worth being exact about, because everyone says the first half and almost nobody means it:

संग्रह नहींNothing written down by default — the date and time exist as numbers inside one calculation and are gone when it ends. Not saved to a file, not put in a database, not kept in your browser. The single exception is the box on the form that asks us to keep a copy, and it starts unticked.
क्रमांक अलगThe serial is registered without the birth — the register records that a number was issued and when, so anyone can check a certificate is genuine at certificate.html. It does not record whose sky the number belongs to: verifying a certificate tells the verifier it is real, and nothing else.
पते में नहींNever in the address bar — the form is sent as a body, not a link. A birth time in a web address gets copied into every log between your phone and us. This one never enters one.
कोई नहीं पढ़ताNo person in the loop — nobody at Darshan reads the details, because there is nowhere for them to read them: no inbox, no order queue, no file with a name on it. If you do ask us to keep a copy it is encrypted before it is written and can only be opened by the reference number you are handed.

The certificate is handed back to your browser as a download and is not kept on our side either — so keep the file, and print it well: the sheet is 16 × 20 inches, which is a print shop rather than a desk printer. Losing it means computing it again; the serial on the reprint would be a new number, because a serial is issued once and never reissued, even to the same sky.

"Tradition's document — not a legal one."
यह परंपरा का प्रमाण है — सरकार का नहीं।

Questions

Is this a legal birth certificate?

No — and the certificate says so on its face. The government certifies the birth; this certifies the sky. One is law, the other is tradition. A family shelf has room for both.

Why is the birth time required here when other pages let me guess?

Because of what this product is. A booklet can carry a noon chart and say honestly which chapters go soft; a certificate is one drawing of one minute, and it would seal an assumed minute under a registered number as if it were the truth. We would rather lose the order than print that. Find the time, then come back — the form will be here.

What is the serial for?

Every certificate carries its own number, issued once and never reissued. Anyone holding the document can check the number against our register at the Sky Certificate page — which confirms it is genuine without telling anyone whose it is.

Whose birth can it be made for?

Anyone whose date, time and place you know — newborns, yourself, a parent, a grandparent. Certificates for the departed are made with the same respect as any other. A minor's certificate is made only on a parent's request; you are on this page, so we take you at your word, and the responsibility is yours.

What if the mathematics is wrong?

Tell us and we stop. A mathematical error means the engine is fixed before anything else ships — and a corrected certificate, under a fresh serial, with the wrong one voided in the register. Write to —.
