The sky at the exact instant the Sun returns to where it stood when you were born — computed to the minute, twelve seconds after you ask. The paper carries the muntha, the year lord, the annual chart, and the twelve solar months of your year: a new month each time the Sun moves another 30° from its natal place, each with the house it lights and the days the Moon touches the muntha's sign.

Twelve seconds — one second for each month of the solar-return year it covers. The engine itself finishes sooner; the paper is handed over on the twelfth and not before, because a document that names your whole year should not land before you have taken your finger off the button. The steps above are the real sequence in the real order, paced to the count rather than to a stopwatch: the engine does not report its own progress, and a bar that claimed to know would be inventing it. An error is never slowed down — a city the engine cannot place comes back the second it is known.

Nothing about this chart is now stored on our side.
Nothing is stored between years, so there is no reminder and nothing to lapse: come back with the same four things and any year's number, and the paper is made again in the same twelve seconds. If you are in the daily panchang community, your own birthday year arrives by email without you asking — that one is the thank-you, and it costs nothing.

Nowhere — unless you tick a box and ask. The same design as every other counter on this site, and worth being exact about here, because an annual paper is where other shops quietly start collecting:
The paper is handed back to your browser as a download and is not kept on our side either. Losing it costs you twelve seconds next time, which is the cheapest insurance on this site.
Why is the birthday one free and this one is not?
Because they are two different things. The birthday one is a thank-you, and a thank-you with an ask attached is not a thank-you, it is a mailshot — so it arrives free, once a year, to everyone in the daily panchang community, with no code at the bottom and no reminder that anything else exists. This page is the other case: any year you like, whenever you like, as many as you like — checking next year early, reading a year already past, or making one for somebody else. That is work you asked for rather than a gift we offered, and the price above is what it costs. Neither one stores anything between years.
Why isn't the solar return on my birthday?
Because the tropical year is about 365 days and a quarter, and your birthday is a whole number of days. The Sun arrives back at its natal longitude a few hours either side of the date, and in some years that crosses midnight. Printing the real moment rather than the calendar date is most of the point of this document.
Why does the time of birth matter so much?
The return is found to the minute, and the annual ascendant — the frame the whole year's chart hangs from — moves about a degree every four minutes. A wrong time makes a different annual chart, which is why the button reads your details back once before it runs.
Does it predict my year?
No, and it says so on its own last page. It says which part of life the year keeps pointing at, roughly what its temperament is, and which days each month the Moon touches the muntha's sign. That is an orientation, not a forecast.
Can I get one for a past year?
Yes — name the year. It is computed, not looked up, so any year of the life works, forward or back.
