Why this is different
Every finding carries its citation — and the ones that can't, say so. A toilet on the Brahmasthan cites Bṛhat Saṁhitā 53.58 and quotes it. A kitchen in the north-east cites the verse that assigns that quarter to the shrine — and then adds, in the same sentence, that the explicit prohibition is later tradition and not in the verse. A garage is marked later tradition outright, because Varāhamihira in the sixth century had nothing to say about cars.
The score is geometry, not fortune. Griha Ūrjā compares your building's shape to the classical allocations. It says nothing about the people living in it and it does not predict anything. That sentence is printed on the page with the number, not buried in a disclaimer at the back.
Nothing is prescribed to be bought. No yantra, no pyramid, no crystal, no consultation fee to "neutralise" what the report found. Where something is wrong the report says what is wrong and where; what you do about it is your business and your budget.
How it works
You draw it. We never see your home.
- Draw your rooms in the page — rectangles on a grid, named. No floor plan file, no photograph, no survey, no address. Open the plan editor →
- Say which way the plan points — one compass bearing. That single number is what rotates the mandala onto your building.
- Read the assessment — the engine maps every room onto the 81 padas and the book comes back a few minutes later, ready to print.
What leaves your browser is a set of rectangles and one bearing. It could be any house on earth — and after the assessment runs it isn't even that, because the drawing lives in the tab and dies with it. We keep the same one-line tally as everywhere else: the date, the word "vastu", the city if you typed one, and whether the engine finished. Not the plan. Not the score.

Questions
Do you need my address?
No — and there is nowhere to type one. The assessment works from the shape of the rooms and the direction the plan faces. Nothing else is asked for, because nothing else is used.
I don't have a floor plan.
You don't need one. The editor is a grid you draw rectangles on: a bedroom is a rectangle, a kitchen is a rectangle. Approximate dimensions give an approximate assessment, and the report tells you which findings depend most on the measurements being right.
My house has a serious conflict. What now?
The report tells you what and where and what it costs in points, and cites the line it came from. It does not tell you to buy anything. Some conflicts are worth a renovation, most are worth knowing about, and a few are worth nothing at all — the report gives you the size of each one so you can decide which is which.
Is Griha Ūrjā a measurement of energy?
No. It is an alignment score: your geometry against the classical allocations, arithmetic, deterministic, and reproducible. The same plan always gives the same number. The book states this on the page where the number appears.
Is it free?
No — the full assessment is a paid booklet and the price is above. What is free: the Griha Ūrjā score — the same geometry, one number, no charge.

This assessment is the classical rules computed against your own plan — the mandala laid over the rooms you drew, at true compass bearing, with every finding carrying the verse it comes from and the arithmetic that produced it. That computation is the same for a house anywhere on earth. What it is not: architectural design, engineering advice, a structural survey, or a prediction about anyone's life.
The śāstra does not change from country to country — permits and trades do. That is why every recommendation here is graded by what it takes to carry out. The free tier changes how you use rooms you already have and needs nobody's permission, anywhere. Where a fault can only be resolved by construction, we name the scope and stop there: any structural or architectural work must be planned and carried out by a qualified professional, under the building rules of the place you live. Nothing here is a permit or construction document.
The recommendations are what the rules compute to. The decision to act on any of them is yours, taken on your own professional advice, and ITERNITY RESEARCH CORP. accepts no liability for work undertaken, or not undertaken, on the basis of this assessment.
